Lots of things to do without just staying in the room each night, even if you aren't a gambler. Isn't that the way it's suppposed to work? Overall, great decision to stay here. Won some bucks, but then lost it, of course. Nice comfortable couch and there was a small table and chairs. Coffee pot and refrigerator in the room as well. Nice sized flat screen TV with great reception and channels to choose from.
I was quite surprised since casino's usually want you out on the floor, not in a comfortable room. We found Harrah's and not only was the room rate 1/2 of the other hotel it was easy to access and had everything we needed from great restaurants to work-out areas, coffee shop, bar and grill, steakhouse and the casino of course. Myself and another co-worker attended a seminar/workshop downtown Kansas City, MO and didn't really want to stay at that location for room rate reasons.
